NARAL Nevada Sends Message to Trump on Day of his Visit to Reno:
Your Hatred is Not Welcome Here

(Reno, NV) — On the day of President Trump’s visit to Reno, NARAL Nevada State Director Caroline Mello Roberson released the following statement:

“Nevadans do not support intolerance, racism, and the defense of white supremacist fringe groups who are responsible for inciting violence in our country. As Trump delivers his remarks to the brave members of the American Legion today, we urge him to consider all of the veterans who put their lives on the line to destroy hatred and bigotry, and protect the freedom we hold so dear. Whether it’s fighting against Trump’s bigotry or his rumored efforts to rollback contraceptive benefits nationwide, the members of NARAL Nevada will continue to organize and resist throughout the Silver State by holding canvasses, phone banks and recruitment events to build the strongest coalition possible.”

Members of NARAL Nevada are continuing to join our allies to organize against President Trump and Senator Heller’s attempts to undermine the basic rights of Nevadans. NARAL Nevada’s members are hosting phone banks today to strongly reject any attempts to spread hate and division in Nevada, as well as efforts to take away women’s health care, defund Planned Parenthood, and attack access to legal abortion and preventative care.
